I’m an Indian contemporary Vocalist, Artist, and Music Educator with over 11 years of experience.
Over time, my journey with music has grown through practice & sharing, shaped by learning, unlearning and a continued curiosity about everything voice and sound.
I work with both children & adults and see teaching as a shared journey. Knowing very well that each voice carries with it, its own pace and possibilities, my approach to the process is structured and open.
My focus is always on building vocal technique, musical expression, and a deeper understanding of melody through structured training.
At its core, my work is about helping people connect with their own voice naturally and with ease.

- I worked as a Hindustani Classical Music Coach with Shankar Mahadevan Academy, teaching the fundamentals of Hindustani classical music using the academy's structured curriculum.
- Focused on building a strong musical foundation through swara, voice development, and an understanding of raga and musical expression.
- Participated in educational initiatives and outreach programs, including the Grow with Music program at Neev Academy and the academy's summer camp for SAP.
- Contributed to the academy's music program at Indus International School, introducing young learners to Indian classical music in an engaging and structured way.
Taaqademy

2011-2015
- I worked as a Hindustani classical and contemporary vocal coach at Taaqademy, guiding students in developing vocal technique, musicality, and performance confidence.
- As part of Taaqademy's music program at Inventure Academy, I worked with students on vocal training and ensemble work, and mentored students for band performances at the annual event.
- Joined the music faculty for two residential arts workshops organized by Brigade Group in Bangalore, working within the Indian music vertical.
- Participated in the audition and student selection process across multiple schools prior to the workshops.

- Conducting one-on-one sessions in Hindustani classical music and contemporary vocal training.
- Designing and curating my own Indian Contemporary Music program, introducing foundational musical concepts along with physiological and technical vocal exercises to help students develop stronger vocal abilities.

- Teaching Hindustani classical music following the curriculum of Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal and preparing students according to the examination syllabus.

- Conduct online vocal training sessions for students across India, Dubai, London, the USA, and South Africa, focusing on Hindustani classical music and vocal development.
- Train young learners from the age of 5, helping them build a strong foundation in swara, listening, and musical sensitivity.
- Work with adult learners, including beginners starting in their 40s and beyond, guiding them through structured yet accessible musical learning.
- For adult students interested in understanding Indian classical music while also learning songs, I combine basic raag concepts with film and light classical repertoire, helping them experience the essence and depth of the classical tradition in a practical way.

As a recording vocalist, I’ve had the chance to let my voice travel across stories, screens, and soundtracks. From advertising to television, it has found its way into campaigns for MakeMyTrip, Godrej No.1, Aditya Birla Group, Clinic Plus, Bandhan Mutual Fund, Santoor, FINGERS, LIC, Mahindra Thar, and Ashok Leyland.
It has also lived within characters and narratives on screen, through shows like Taarak Mehta Ka Chhota Chashma, Jijaji Chhat Par Koi Hai, Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga, Punyashlok Ahilyabai, Suhagan Chudail, and Maati Se Bandhi Dor.

On stage, my voice finds a different space, shared in the moment and shaped by the people I perform with. I’ve had the opportunity to perform live alongside artists such as Shankar Mahadevan, Sanjeev Thomas (guitarist with A. R. Rahman), Baiju Dharmajan (lead guitarist of Motherjane and Baiju Dharmajan Syndicate), and Sylvester Pradeep.

"My grandchildren were introduced to Hindustani Classical music by Archana when they were aged 7 and 9 years respectively." I could not ask for a better teacher as she was patient, encouraging and used multiple techniques to get them respond to her positively. Archana was initially my teacher and she was compassionate with me as an adult beginner. She emboldened me to venture into a journey of Western Voice Culture and to then seamlessly slide into singing Hindi, Tamil and English songs.
